A former prison guard who quit to marry an inmate has been told she faces jail.

She quit and they married in a ceremony behind bars before he was moved to Shotts maximum security prison where she was caught.

Fiscal depute Calum Forsyth told Hamilton Sheriff Court: ‘The police car had to be stopped because she was experiencing discomfort and had to remove the items.
